We called 3 businesses, received 2 over the phone estimates. Green Buffalo was the only business that offered to come to the house and take a look and provide us with an exact estimate not a guesstimate. Green Buffalo's estimate included labor and the amount of insulation we needed. No guessing! Price was very reasonable and schedule time was quick. Very professional and efficient and the place was spotless when the job was done. There is no longer a temperature change from room to room. The echo in the house is gone. Our air / and now our heat isn't turning on all the time. My guess is we will also see a difference in our electric bill. If you too feel a temperature difference move a thermometer from room to room,if you see a temperature difference give Green Buffalo Attic Insulation a call. They won't up sell you. They explained their process to improve our overall insulation and create a much improved storage area in our garage and attic. They also steered us away from some overpriced considerations. The owner Rodney is also a very compassionate person. While he was out doing the quote, I shared a few things I had going on in my life. One of them was that I had just found out I had termites in my home, and from the termite inspection found out the front half of my house was not insulated at all. He told me he used to be a single father of three and knew how tough it can be(I am a single father myself). He offered to do the insulation for free. This blew me away. I could not believe he offered to do that, and it really came at a much needed time. I just had my roof replaced, need to get my house tented for fumigation for the termites, and a couple of maintenance things done on my car. I told him I have to give him something, but he insisted no. He said I could tip his crew who would be doing the work if I wanted to, but it was up to me and not necessary at all. The day they showed up to do the job, the crew was his daughter and nephew. They were both very polite and hard workers. I tipped each of them a $100. Least I could do. It ended up saving me hundreds of dollars. The work was done very professionally. I am so grateful that I found this company, and will use them and recommend them for any future needs.
